With the dreary colors of winter fading to make way for spring-time, spring-time colors are beginning to make their appearances on the racks in major retails stores and even new paint chips for home decorating are finding their way to the front of hardware store aisles. 2011 is a new year, so new colors are at the forefront of the newest trends.
First off is the classic Pink, or as some call it Honeysuckle pink.Honeysuckle pink is a bright shade of pink, with almost a reddish hue. Bright, bold pinks are good colors for heels, bags or patterned skirts and minis. Pink goes well with other bright colors like yellow, aqua or even orange. It also offers a bright add on to sand or khaki colors.
Secondly, is the color Orange, or more specifically, persimmon orange. Bright Juicy hues that make you think of smoothies, summer-time and Oranges are popular this season, and is a bright counter-part to the aforementioned pink, and also goes well with neutral sand colors. Be on the lookout for orange shades in dresses, sunglasses and bright colored heels.
Third, we have the color yellow. This season you can find the yellow color in shades varying from butter yellow to even bold 70′s era mustard yellow. This spring fashion year is all about being adventurous, so look for yellows in cute cammis, dresses, shoes and even swimsuits.
finally, we have Blue. Blue has been a mainstay of many fashion looks throughout the years and this is no different. Blue shades for spring vary from bright aqua, navy blue, sky blue and dusky blue. For a bold new take on the color, pair a sky blue skirt with a bright orange or rusty orange top, or vice-versa.
